In total, they have worked for hundreds of websites. They have accumulated experience working for organisations ranging from NGOs to government ministries, from the financial sector to media groups (television and radio). They have collaborated in the development of web applications used by hundreds of thousands of people in the world’s largest companies.

The origin of the PageVerify project

It is very difficult to find good writers. And unfortunately a lot of them are lazy or incompetent. They recycle more or less brilliantly content already produced elsewhere.

This makes it very difficult to make content visible. When an article has already been covered 100 times … why would Google be interested in your content ? One of the concerns is that, as a website publisher, you are not always equipped to know that your content is not the most interesting.

The other observation is that in front of a particular case: a site that produced YMYL content on health saw its traffic disappear in a few months. The content was however created with medical experts with a real added value.

Market duplication detection tools do not help to find the thieves easily. We had to use a more refined approach to trace the trail and find different thieves.

The damage was done and the reaction too late … thousands of euros of investment had gone up in smoke. The site did not recover.

And our PageVerify tool was born. We used it to manage a team of 25+ writers who were producing several thousand articles a month.
